234&That / Website design in Nigeria

Website design in Nigeria, built to load before your customer gives up.

234&That designs and builds websites for Nigerian businesses — one fixed price, quoted after a short brief, and live in five to ten days. Every site is built to load quickly on a phone on Nigerian mobile data, because that is where your customers are and where most sites fail them.

What you get

How pricing works

One fixed price, agreed on the brief call before any work starts. It depends on how many pages the site needs and what it has to do — not on hours. No hourly billing, no estimate that grows later.

Billed 60% on signing and 40% on delivery — you see the site live before you pay the rest. Updates and content changes after launch are covered by a monthly retainer. Ask for a quote on WhatsApp.

Why speed is the whole argument

Google's threshold for a "good" Largest Contentful Paint — the moment the main content appears — is 2.5 seconds. Most Nigerian business sites we audit take far longer than that on a mid-range phone. When we tested the web studios Google Gemini names as Nigeria's best, on 2 October 2026, their home pages took a median of 9.9 seconds to show their main content on PageSpeed Insights' mobile test. Ours took 1.1 seconds. The full benchmark and method are published.

Speed is not a technical nicety. It is the difference between a customer who sees your prices and one who closes the tab — and if you are paying for ads, every slow second is ad money spent on people who never saw the page.

Fast does not mean bare. Photographs are not what makes sites slow; unresized photographs are. A full-width phone hero image compressed properly is around 58KB. A twelve-image gallery fits comfortably inside a fast page.

How it works

  1. Brief call. We agree what the site must do, and the price is fixed there.
  2. 60% on signing. Work starts the same week.
  3. Build. You review on a private link as it takes shape. Most sites are live in seven to ten days.
  4. 40% on delivery. The site goes live on your domain; you pay the balance once you have seen it.

Questions

How much does a website cost in Nigeria?

It depends on what the site has to do — the number of pages, and whether it takes bookings, shows a menu or sells products. At 234&That every website is quoted as one fixed price after a short brief, with no hourly billing and no estimate that grows later. Websites are billed 60% on signing and 40% on delivery, after you have seen the site live.

How long does it take to build a website?

Five to ten working days from the brief to a live site. Most of our sites are live in seven to ten days. The schedule starts when we have your logo, your copy or a call to write it, and your photographs.

Why does website speed matter for a Nigerian business?

Most Nigerian customers arrive on a phone, on mobile data, often on a slow or congested connection. Google measures loading speed from real Chrome users and uses it in ranking. A page that takes eleven seconds to show anything loses the customer before your prices appear, and the ad money that sent them is gone with them.

Do you use WordPress or Wix?

No. We build static sites with no framework and no page builder, because that is what loads fast on Nigerian mobile data. You get the same things a page builder gives you — a contact form, WhatsApp click-to-chat, Google Maps, your products — without the weight. Changes after launch are covered by a monthly retainer, or quoted separately.

Do you build sites for businesses outside Lagos?

Yes. The studio is in Lagos and works with businesses across Nigeria, including Abuja and Port Harcourt. Everything — the brief, reviews and handover — runs over WhatsApp and video calls.

Will my site show up when people ask ChatGPT or Google AI?

A fast, crawlable site that states plainly what you do and where is the largest single source AI assistants cite for local businesses. Every site we build is server-rendered so search engines and AI crawlers read the full page. Getting named in AI answers also depends on your Google Business Profile, reviews and press mentions, which is our AI visibility service.

Send us your site. We'll tell you what's wrong with it, free.
